STEP 1. Press Charges (Filing Fees start at just $5.00)
Click on the "Press Charges" button at the top of the page. Fill out a complaint form and pay the fee. You can pay the filing fee online by credit card or you can pay by check or cash by mailing your complaint form and payment to:
My Warrior's Place Attn: Brigathon 101 22nd Street NW #112 Ruskin, FL 33570
STEP 2. Arrest Warrants are Issued
My Warrior's Place will issue an arrest warrant to the accused within 48 hours of receiving the criminal complaint and filing fee. Fines will be assessed (up to 10 times the amount of the filing fee). The accused will have the opportunity to then raise the money to pay their fines. (Make sure to check out the “Most Wanted” page often to see who the top 10 people with the most in fines has hit the TEN MOST WANTED list!)
STEP 3. Go to Court (or not)
The accused will be given the choice of pleading “no contest” or pleading guilty to a lessor charge for a reduced fine. (Fine will be 2 times the amount of filing fee)
If the accused pleads no contest or guilty to reduced charges he/she will be able to:
a) pay fine prior to the court date, thus he/she will not be required to appear in court. Pay fine by clicking on the "Pay Fine" button and follow the instructions.
or b) show up to court and pay the fine in person, thus he/she will avoid a trial and being thrown in the brig.
OR The accused can choose to turn themselves in and take their chances in court with the opportunity to plead their case. If found guilty (and you know that they will be) the accused now becomes a criminal and will have to pay a fine up to 4 times the amount of the filing fee. If the criminal does not have the funds to pay his/her fine they will be thrown in the Brig until the fines can be raised by family, friends, co-workers or other persons they may know.
OR The accused can choose to be arrested and an MP will be sent out to pick them up (this option is available ONLY if they live within 5 miles of the Brigathon Court House located at the Sun City Center Chamber Banquet Hall) and bring them to court. If found guilty (and you know that they will be) the now criminal will have to pay a fine between 6 and 10 times the amount of the filing fee. If the criminal does not have the funds to pay his/her fine they will be thrown in the Brig until the fines can be raised by family, friends, co-workers or other persons they may know.
STEP 4. HAVE FUN AND RAISE MONEY FOR TWO GREAT CAUSES (My Warrior's Place and the Sun City Center Chamber) and help RICK SANDLIN become Sun City Center's 2017/2018 Honorary Mayor!!!
