EVENT DESCRIPTIONS: FEBRUARY 9th - 11th, 2018 (FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY)
Fishing Tournament: The Fishing Event will be hosted by FAVE, Operation Home Shores & Tampa Bay Fishing Club
A 2 person team competition - this part of the event will have a captains meeting on Friday night from 6pm to 6:30pm at the Southshore Falls Ballroom in Apollo Beach. The tournament will be held on Saturday starting at 7:00am and will run through Sunday at 1:00pm. It is a catch, photo, release fishing tournament in Tampa Bay and surrounding area. Classifications are kayaks/wading, boats and fly fishing.
Shooting Competition: The Shooting Event hosted by Gun Craft, Combat Speed LLC & Black Dagger Military Hunt Club
An individual competition - this part of the event will be held at Gun Craft’s Outdoor Range located at 2102 24th Street SE Ruskin, FL 33570. The event will be held during the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm on Saturday and 8:00am and 1:00pm on Sunday. This event will be a fixed time, specific number of rounds on steel targets using both a Glock17 9mm and an AR15 223Cal. with iron sights on both. Firearms and ammunition will be provided. Each competitor will be given a slotted time to shoot so that they may participate in another event if they choose to do so. Slotted shooting times will be based on the number of competitors and will also take into account those competitors who are particpating in more than one event. Bring your own eyes and ears or you can purchase from Gun Craft. Shooters in the event must be 18 years of age or older.
Skydiving Competition: The Skydiving Event will be hosted by the Florida Skydiving Center & CCP911 Project
An individual competition - this part of the event will be held during the hours of 7:30am and 4:30pm on Saturday and 7:30am and 1:00pm on Sunday at the Florida Skydiving Center located at 400 S Airport Rd, Lake Wales, FL 33859. It will be an Expert and Novice Accuracy Competition (landing closest to the target for both solo and tandem jumpers but there is a twist to it for the tandem jumpers which will be easy to do and will be fun). Each competitor will be given a slotted time to shoot so that they may participate in another event if they choose to do so. Slotted shooting times will be based on the number of competitors and will also take into account those competitors who are particpating in more than one event. Skydiving rigs will be provided but solo jumpers can bring their own. Solo jumpers must have an up-to-date license and all jumpers must be 18 years of age or older.
Survival Race Competition: The Survival Race Event will be hosted by MWP & Little Harbor Resort
A 2 person team competition - this part of the event will be held on Saturday between 9:00am and 6:00pm. It will start at My Warrior’s Place and end at Little Harbor. Event is timed and includes a 2 Mile 20lb Ruck Sack Race (10lb for those who are under the age of 12 and over the age of 50 or weigh less than 120lbs), a canoe race, a 35 foot traversing wall, 45 feet of wipeout balls, 30 feet of 4x4 board walk balancing stick & ball, bean bag toss knocking over cans, starting a fire using a fire stick and solving a giant puzzle. Participants only need to furnish their own ruck sacks and weights.

You are invited to come and watch any of the events and cheer on your favorite competitor or team. We suggest you bring lawn chairs to relax in while watching the events. If you are going to watch the skydiving you may want to also bring along some binoculars. On Saturday we will have vendors set up all day at Little Harbor Resorts during the Survival Race and Ride For The Fallen Poker Run.
