The Compass Program

May you never lose your way

You might have come home from the front lines after a job well done, but you might not have returned fully from the war.

Peace doesn’t come just because the guns have gone silent, and sometimes the quiet times can be worse.

Just because these wounds don’t bleed and you are no longer hearing explosions or gunfire doesn’t mean the war is over. The war within can still be burning and dragging on with a foe you never see.

You were trained to be a warrior, but no one trained you on how to fight the darkness or the quiet ache, the hidden grief, or the shrapnel that would become lodged in your heart and soul.

With the Compass program, we want to give you a roadmap and some directions to help you leave the fight within and integrate back into civilization, to enjoy the peace and happiness you deserve. Resilience is a learned skill that can be developed over time through behaviors, thoughts, and actions. Let us help you bounce back strong!

This is a 6-month online program that is customized for the different branches of the service, military associations, and organizations.  Grants cover the cost of the program, so it is *FREE for a Veteran to attend once a grant is secured. Class size is limited to 30. (*There will be some out-of-pocket expenses such as printing workbook pages, homework items, etc., but that cost to a veteran should not exceed $.00)

REMEMBER THAT PARTICIPATION IN A PROGRAM TAKES WORK AND DOING THE WORK IS A SIGN OF GREAT STRENGTH!

Soldiers and Helicopter

This course will require a veteran to put in up to 4 hours of work each month between reading materials, homework, exercises and a one hour zoom meeting.

Commitment and dedication to this program are crucial for a positive and self-rewarding outcome.
